Waiver & Release of Liability

  1. Voluntary participation: As a Swing Violation (hereinafter SV) participant, I have voluntarily chosen to participate in the dance offered by SV, and I am under no obligation to continue attending any dance.
  2. Assumption of Risk: Dancing and related activities carry certain risks that can result in illness, injury, permanent disability, and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury to me does exist. I voluntarily assume and accept all risks and potential hazards involved in dancing and related activities provided by SV. I understand that I am strongly advised to obtain comprehensive medical insurance prior to engaging in this activity.
  3. Release: I, for myself and on behalf of my/our heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release the SWING VIOLATION, OAK GROVE, THIRD SPACE REVIVAL, its officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, or other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of the premises used to conduct the event ("Releasees"), with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property incident to my involvement or participation in these programs whether arising from the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  4. Knowing and Voluntary Execution: I have carefully read this agreement and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a promise not to sue SV or its employees, members, officers, directors, agents, or representatives, and I sign this agreement of my own free will. I understand that SV has the right to refuse services to any individual at any time.
  5. Sales: I understand that all sales are final and non-transferable. I understand that any exception made to this policy is subject to Managerial approval and processing fees.
  6. Consent to Photograph and Video: I hereby irrevocably consent to, and authorize the use and reproduction by SV of any photographs, recordings, videos, and/or other reproductions, which have been secured by or for SV for promotional purposes.
  7. Integrated Agreement: This liability agreement supersedes and replaces all previous agreements between parties concerning this event, whether written or oral.
